Sometimes the mornings with families with kids can be hasty. Not to worry – You can save the morning by offering TwoDads® Wholewheat breakfast cereals or preparing the morning snack the evening before; such as sandwiches, berry smoothies or porridges.

A wholesome breakfast is composed of three things:

Wholewheat products with high-fiber content

Wholewheat products with high-fiber content give a good base for the first meal of the day. E.g.: TwoDads® wholewheat breakfast cereals, porridges or wholegrain breads.

Add fresh berries, fruits or vegetables

Berries and fruits are great with cereals, porridge, smoothies or on their own. With wholewheat and high-fibre bread you can let kids pick toppings such as salad, cucumber, tomato or bellpepper.

Non-fat mik or other dairy products

You can make a great breakfast in many ways, but the child will learn quickly that three components keep hunger away longer and gives a great start for the day: wholewheat grains, something colorful (veggies, berries or fruits) and something white.

It's important to vary the breakfast to get a good start for the day and keeping the blood sugar levels even. If the child is hungry it will make it harder to focus and learn. Some kids don't like to eat in the morning but even a small snack of wholewheat grains and fruits or berries help to keep the smaller kids going before noon. For bigger kids you can pack cereals, fruits or sandwiches to be eaten on-the-go.
